Approach

Dr. Melissa Korland provides personal, friendly service in a caring environment for children of all ages and their families. As a busy mother and professional, Dr. Korland knows firsthand the struggles of daily parenting, especially if mental health difficulty is a part of the picture. Whether it is early intervention or solution-focused treatment, Dr. Korland is committed to positive change with a holistic and integrative approach.

Fees and Insurance

My practice is a fee-for-service practice. This means that payment for assessment and treatment is arranged directly with each client or family, and I do not bill or accept insurance. Payment is requested at each appointment, by check or credit card.  I do not participate in managed care networks or panels. However, many clients are able to utilize their out of network benefit coverage from their insurance policy to recoup a percentage of the cost of treatment. Please check with your insurance carrier to be fully informed of your benefits. I will prepare a monthly statement for you to submit to your insurance company to process claims.  Assessment and treatment fees may also be paid for by funds from a Flexible Spending Account or a Health Savings Account.
